CT Library of Accessible Books
The CT Library of Accessible books is open to individuals of all ages in the State of Connecticut that have a disability that prevents them from physically reading a book.
Individuals may fill out an application form and have a medical professional sign off on it.
The individual may choose from using the BARD mobile application or the physical book player with tapes that are sent by mail. Both options are free of charge. The application allows individuals to select from books that are of interest to them.
Books and magazines are offered for free in a variety of different world languages.
The staff at the Library for Accessible is very responsive and and available to answering any questions.
